LOCUS projects featured on IPS’ website
Our technology partner Innovative Power Systems (www.ips-solar.com) is now featuring two of our projects on their website.
This WI Farm hydronic solar system is estimated to offset 90 tons of CO2 over 30 years! It features 16 collectors that are sized to supply 70% of the building and barn hot water and heating needs.
This second system features 8 collectors that will work in unison with a superinsulated building envelope, triple-glazed windows, and a great amount of daylighting to make this MPLS residence extremely energy efficient.
We appreciate the favor and want to remind you that IPS have been on our blogroll to the right for a while. Did you know that 50% of the buildings on the Solar Home Tour were outfitted by IPS?
Please also note that we are extremely greatful to our clients, who give us the opportunity to implement systems and strategies that reduce a project’s impact on the environment.
