Wale Falade

    Principal    

Wale believes good design can transform people’s lives, health, social relationships, and even economic prospects. Born in Nigeria, Wale holds a master’s in architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Certificate in Metropolitan Design. In 2022, after briefly establishing and leading his own firm, he became a principal/owner of Locus Architecture, a Minneapolis-based firm known for its modern aesthetics, sustainability focus, and commitment to equity

Wale is a recipient of the AIA-MN 2025 Young Architect Award, has served as lead architect and project manager for more than 100 projects, including retail spaces, multifamily housing, and workplace environments. Licensed in multiple states, he has extensive experience leading highly complex, large-scale building projects.

Generous with his time and talents, Wale has been an instructor in architecture at Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis and has served as a mentor to both students and fellow professionals. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, playing soccer, making furniture, mixing music, and practicing bass guitar.
